Scam!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>I reported iDNS to the post office a few months ago warning them that this company was doing improper &#8230; yes, even fraudulent activities. Technically they are still within the legal bounds but in actuality, they are deceptive in their approach. They are scam artists! And I can prove it. Read on.<\/p>\n<p>If you own a domain and you get a letter from iDNS watch out! The letter comes with a warning\u00a0 &#8212; &#8220;Domain Name Expiration Notice&#8221; which will scare the non-techies to send their credit card information to them.<\/p>\n<p>The letter looks like this:<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/wynkmarketing.com\/wp-wynk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/06\/iDNS-Fake.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-large wp-image-563\" src=\"http:\/\/wynkmarketing.com\/wp-wynk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/06\/iDNS-Fake-778x1024.jpg\" alt=\"iDNS-Fake\" width=\"768\" height=\"1011\" srcset=\"http:\/\/wynkmarketing.com\/wp-wynk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/06\/iDNS-Fake-778x1024.jpg 778w, http:\/\/wynkmarketing.com\/wp-wynk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/06\/iDNS-Fake-228x300.jpg 228w, http:\/\/wynkmarketing.com\/wp-wynk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/06\/iDNS-Fake.jpg 830w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 768px) 100vw, 768px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>If you get this in your mailbox (not email box) relax. These guys just got your information through easily accessible data. That&#8217;s all the &#8220;authenticity&#8221; they can boast of. This is why they are able to fool a lot of people.<\/p>\n<p>If you read the small print it says in Bold letters &#8221; This notice is not a bill.&#8221; Then it reveals what they want you to do. They want you to TRANSFER your web hosting to them for 4 times the price you would normally pay.<\/p>\n<p>They also include a return envelope (not even with a stamp &#8212; ie. you have to pay for your response letter to them so that they can screw you!) that is addressed to:<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/wynkmarketing.com\/wp-wynk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/06\/iDnsFake.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-564\" src=\"http:\/\/wynkmarketing.com\/wp-wynk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/06\/iDnsFake.png\" alt=\"iDnsFake\" width=\"364\" height=\"134\" srcset=\"http:\/\/wynkmarketing.com\/wp-wynk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/06\/iDnsFake.png 364w, http:\/\/wynkmarketing.com\/wp-wynk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/06\/iDnsFake-300x110.png 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 364px) 100vw, 364px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Internet Domain Services Inc<br \/>\n925 Bergen Ave., Suite #289<br \/>\nJersey City, NJ 07306-3018<\/p>\n<p>Obviously, you will want to burn that letter.
